Hybrid - London / UK Remote
£28,000 - £30,000 + Commission (OTE £40,000 - £50,000)
Our client, a well-established UK membership organisation, is looking to appoint an ambitious and driven Sales Executive to join their growing team.
Representing and supporting a community of independent professionals across the UK, this organisation plays an important role in helping its members succeed through advice, support, advocacy and valuable member benefits.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded sales professional who enjoys building relationships, creating opportunities and delivering results. Reporting directly to the Director of Membership, you will be responsible for driving membership growth through new business activity, lead conversion and proactive prospecting.
The Role
As Sales Executive, you'll take ownership of generating and converting new membership opportunities while promoting the value proposition of the organisation's services and benefits.
Key responsibilities include:
Identifying and engaging self-employed professionals and independent business owners to grow membership numbers.
Building and managing your own pipeline of prospective members.
Following up on marketing-generated leads and converting enquiries into memberships.
Achieving growth and revenue targets set by the Director of Membership.
Clearly communicating the benefits of membership and tailoring conversations to prospective members' needs.
Maintaining accurate records of all activity within the CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics).
Working closely with colleagues across the organisation to identify opportunities to raise awareness and generate new leads.
Contributing to membership growth strategies and sales initiatives.
Attending events and networking opportunities across the UK when required.
About You
The successful candidate will be a motivated and target-driven sales professional with a proven ability to win new business and build strong relationships.
You will ideally possess:
Previous experience in business development, sales, membership sales or a similar commercial role.
A demonstrable track record of achieving targets and closing opportunities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
A proactive, self-motivated approach with the confidence to work independently.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
A results-oriented mindset supported by strong numerical and commercial awareness.
Experience using CRM systems would be advantageous.
The right to work in the UK.
What's on Offer?
Basic salary of £28,000 - £30,000.
Attractive commission scheme with realistic OTE of £40,000 - £50,000.
Flexible hybrid working arrangement:
Weekly attendance at the Central London office for those based in or near London.
Monthly or quarterly attendance for those based more than two hours from London.
